The Story of LHW Striping & Powerwashing
In the Koch family, a strong work ethic starts early. My dad, Joey Koch, and his siblings spent their childhoods mowing yards all over Lufkin. Following in those footsteps, I decided to start my own venture when I was twelve years old—but instead of a lawnmower, I picked up a striper and power washer.
With the guidance and "know-how" of my grandfather, John Koch, I launched Henry’s Striping. My goal wasn't just to find a summer job; I wanted to build a reliable service that local business owners could truly count on.
A True Family Effort
That early ambition with "Granddaddy’s help" has grown into a dedicated team project. Since more of our family is involved now, we even changed our name to LHW Striping & Powerwashing to include everyone.
Today, my sister Lydia and brother Wagner are working right alongside me. They’re learning the trade and helping on every job to ensure we get the details exactly right.
We take immense pride in seeing our work at the churches, clinics, and local businesses we visit every day. To us, those aren't just parking lots—they are a way for us to serve the community that has supported our family for years.
